Grangefield 1st team having started in 1995 have had an up and down time through out the years and then for the last 7 years(ish) have been around division 3 in the yorkshire old boys consistently finishing mid table until the past 2 seasons.

Since a big shake up happened within the club new managers/players and a reserve team came in the club has had a vibe about it.

Having watched their reserve team get the league winners medal in their 1st season the 1st team stepped up and added more players to their squad and pushed on to win their 1st title 2008/9 season being crowned division 3 champions and the 1st bit of silverware that the 1st team had got in just under 15 years.

They followed this up by the next season being crowned division 2 champions with not really adding to the squad but changing from the joint managers of Tom Stephenson and Kev Green, to Paul (i'm going to retire honestly) Adlington.

This showed that the team now have a fighting spirit and won't take no for an answer.

This season they are under new management again with Wayne Barlow. Stepping back into the top job after a succesful time with the reserves, and bringing a two team club into a whole new thriving big club set up with the help of the people behind the scenes. Addlinton and now former player Danny Roberts have stepped in to bring success to the reserves which their dedication derserves.

Barlow added to the squad and continued the success of previous managers by winning Division one too all in consecutive seasons. This team no longer knows how to give in and continue to develop into a yobl force. The reserves are still in div 3 and the first team playing their forst season in Senior B. Let's see what the future now holds..........
